Ailin Dong
I am Ailin Dong, a graduate student in the Digital Futures program at OCAD University, having earned my Fine Arts degree from Jiangnan University in 2023. As an interdisciplinary artist and co-founder of xdaeta, I specialize in wearable 3D-printed knitwear. My art draws from diverse influences including technology, nature, science fiction, and history, and employs various mediums like music, AI, VR, and mixed-material paintings. My projects focus on the convergence of embodiment and cybernetic concepts, merging virtual and real technologies to weave complex narratives that depict the integration of agents and environments.
Xinzhou Zhang
I'm Xinzhou Zhang, an MFA student in Digital Futures at OCAD University with a foundational background in architecture from the University of Nottingham. My career has evolved from architecture to cutting-edge digital design, encompassing computation, UX/UI, VR, and immersive space design. As a former Spatial Experience Designer and Digital Architectural Designer, I have developed a keen ability to create engaging, interactive environments. Currently, I'm focused on pioneering 3D environment design using VR to enhance how we perceive and interact with spaces, merging the physical and digital realms.
